Choose a removal mode

  • Default Noise Removal provides a balanced starting point for common rooms and calls.
  • Advanced Noise Removal uses the captured noise profile and additional controls for difficult environments.
  • Bypass processing when diagnosing whether an artifact comes from the microphone, routing, or the cleanup chain.
02

Capture a noise profile

  1. 1Set the microphone at the normal speaking position.
  2. 2Stop speaking and keep the room in its normal noisy state.
  3. 3Start Capture Noise Profile and remain quiet for the requested duration.
  4. 4Enable Advanced Noise Removal and compare speech with the profile active.
  5. 5Recapture the profile when the room, fan speed, microphone, or position changes.

Virtual Mic EQ presets

  • Flat: no intentional tone shaping.
  • Resona Voice: balanced presence and body.
  • Broadcast Voice: controlled lows with stronger articulation.
  • Warm Podcast: fuller low-mid character.
  • Clarity: extra intelligibility for calls and gaming.
  • Deep Voice: a darker, weightier tonal profile.

Tune dynamics gently

  • Set physical microphone gain correctly before relying on software.
  • Use the gate gently so word beginnings remain intact.
  • Compress for consistency, not constant maximum loudness.
  • Apply makeup gain only after evaluating compressor output.
  • Let the limiter catch occasional peaks rather than every sentence.
