01
Before you begin
ResonaEQ+ sits between Windows applications and your physical headphones, speakers, interface, DAC, or monitor controller. Keep your hardware volume conservative during the first setup so device switching cannot surprise you with a large level change.
- Use Windows 10 or Windows 11 with administrator access.
- Connect the physical output device you intend to use before opening the Setup Wizard.
- Close applications that may hold exclusive control of an audio device.
- Keep your amplifier, interface, or headphone output at a low listening level.
02
Complete the Setup Wizard
- 1Install ResonaEQ+ and approve the Windows administrator prompt when the Resona audio driver is installed.
- 2Open ResonaEQ+ and select the physical playback device that should receive processed audio.
- 3Select your physical microphone if you plan to use Resona Microphone.
- 4Allow the wizard to verify Resona Speakers, Resona Microphone, and the driver control path.
- 5Finish setup and start the audio engine.
03
Choose the Windows default output
Set Resona Speakers as the Windows default playback device. Applications then send audio into ResonaEQ+, where EQ, correction, routing, and output control are applied before the signal reaches your selected physical device.
04
Confirm the system is ready
- The Dashboard shows the engine as running.
- Resona Speakers is selected as the Windows output.
- Your physical device appears as the ResonaEQ+ destination.
- Input and output meters respond while audio plays.
- Driver Health reports that the Resona endpoints and control device are available.
