The core signal path
Windows applications play into Resona Speakers. ResonaEQ+ captures that signal, processes it, and sends it to your physical output. The same system audio can optionally be mixed into Resona Microphone for streaming, recording, or collaborative playback.
- System In controls incoming Windows audio before processing.
- Physical Out controls the final monitor or headphone route.
- VM System Send controls how much system audio reaches Resona Microphone.
- VM Mic Send controls how much physical microphone audio reaches Resona Microphone.
- Virtual Mic Out controls the final level sent to communication and recording apps.
02
Choose a virtual microphone source mode
- Microphone: sends only the physical microphone through the voice chain.
- System Audio: sends only Windows playback into the virtual microphone.
- Microphone + System: combines both sources for streaming, watch parties, demonstrations, or remote collaboration.
03
Unity-gain starting point
- 1Set System Input to 1.00.
- 2Set Physical Output to 1.00.
- 3Set Virtual Mic Output to 1.00.
- 4Start system and microphone sends low, then raise only the sources you need.
- 5Use meters to verify that no stage is clipping.
04
Monitor Dim
Monitor Dim temporarily lowers physical monitoring without changing the virtual microphone mix. It is useful when speaking, checking a recording, or reducing headphone level while keeping a stream or call unchanged.
